Frog's Leap

Some say this organic winery offers the most relaxed and enjoyable tour-tasting in Napa Valley. Tour guides lead you through the fruit and vegetable gardens, the fermentation room, barrel room and the gorgeous farmhouse. Recent guests love leisurely savoring their wine, while gazing at the gardens and Mayacamas Mountains from rocking chairs on the farmhouse porch. Guests also say that the occasional run-in with the jovial winemaker John Williams is always a treat.
One TripAdvisor user confesses: "Frog's Leap is our favorite winery in Napa. Great tour. And the solar power, dry farming and organic farming is really interesting."
Tours are offered at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and are limited to 10 people. To secure a spot (tours fill quickly with only 10 allowed at a time), reserve a day or two in advance. The $20 tour fee includes a tasting of four current release wines.
